AFCC is the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts—the premier interdisciplinary and international association of professionals dedicated to the resolution of family conflict. AFCC promotes a collaborative approach to serving the needs of children among those who work in and with family law systems, encouraging education, research and innovation, and identification of best practices. Members include judges, lawyers, mediators, psychologists, researchers, policymakers, academics, counselors, court-connected service professionals, court administrators, custody evaluators, psychiatrists, parenting coordinators, social workers, parent educators, and financial professionals.

AFCC holds interdisciplinary conferences for family law, mental health and dispute resolution professionals. These events provide a unique opportunity for participants to meet the authors of bestselling books, researchers who conduct the landmark studies, and other leaders in the field from throughout the world. The interdisciplinary collaboration and the incredible breadth and depth of conference programs make every AFCC conference a memorable experience.
